Cengiz Topel (b. 1934, İzmit – d. 1964, Cyprus), Turkish air force captain.

On 8 August 1964, during a warning flight carried out by the Turkish Air Force over Cyprus, his aircraft was hit by Greek Cypriot anti-aircraft fire; although he managed to bail out by parachute, he was taken prisoner and subsequently killed.

Topel, whom the Greek Cypriots stated had died in hospital, had his body returned on 12 August 1964. He was the Turkish Air Force’s first pilot casualty in Cyprus.
