The fight against the red palm weevil, observed to be damaging the palm trees of Lefke and its villages, is continuing through our municipality’s Health Department teams.
The method used against the red palm weevil involves injecting a measured mixture of water and pesticide into probes placed at two separate points on the trunk without damaging the tree.
